About Me

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. A small town girl moves to the big city for a chance at a better life. Well friend, I took that chance. I built that life, and I try to enjoy every minute of it.

My yearning for movement started at a young age. I grew up dancing classical ballet, dreaming of one day performing in Lincoln Center, but reality and rationality ultimately prevailed. I moved to New York City to further my education and pursue my degree. I immediately fell in love with everything the city has to offer, and I’m happy to have put down roots in my adopted home.

I may have grown up in the country, but after a decade of living here, I’m a city girl at heart. I feel most at home curled up in the window of my Manhattan apartment with a chai tea latte and the latest issue of Architectural Digest.

I’m a lover of all the good things in life — classical art, museums, fine dining, and decadent desserts. I live for the experience of it all. I adore things that are beautiful for the sake of beauty. I love experiences that leave my soul feeling a little richer.

I’m also a fan of the little things, the small moments that make up our lives - walking around the city with a camera in hand on a nice day, listening to a good podcast, or re-watching Sex and the City for the 100th time.

As a budding chef, I love hosting dinner parties at home with my friends and trying new recipes from Alison Roman and Melissa Clark. Whenever I have the opportunity, I spend time on the East End. Swimming in the Atlantic ocean is exhilarating, even though it isn’t as warm as the Texas lakes I grew up with.

I have a soft-spoken voice with a slight southern accent. My fashion style is best described as classic and feminine. I’m open-minded, an optimist, and can share a martini with anyone. I have high cheek bones, impossibly soft skin, and a brilliant, white smile. I’m a lover of learning, detail-oriented, and I love a good list.

Working as a companion has allowed me to live my life to the fullest in so many ways. It’s given me the opportunity to pursue my education and career goals in a way no other work could have. Plus, being able to mix my love of fine dining and travel with the joy of meeting new people is thrilling. Seeing things through my friends’ eyes has me falling in love with New York City over and over again. The people I meet and the experiences we’ve shared have enriched my life more than I could have thought possible. I’m a tour guide with benefits.
